Join us to hear about our automation framework at the DSTB conference on June 12

Join TestHuset at the DSTB Conference – June 12, 2019

On June 12, 2019, TestHuset will participate in the DSTB conference, where we will present a practical approach to integrating test automation into your sprints.

At TestHuset, we have developed a technology-independent automation framework built on microservices. This framework supports automation across all platforms and allows for easy replacement of technologies and tools over time—without having to rebuild the entire automation setup from scratch. It’s a future-proof, easy-to-maintain framework that enables all team members to contribute in the most effective way based on their skills.

Our technical consultants and trainers, Helge Nymand and Jens Riggelsen, will take the stage at 11:30 AM, where they will spend an hour explaining how the framework works—and most importantly—what value it can bring to your organization.

We will also have a booth at the conference where you’re welcome to stop by for a chat about the framework, test automation in general, our courses, or software testing and quality assurance more broadly.

About Our Talk at DSTB

“Shift Left, Do Right – A Practical Approach to Embedding Test Automation into Your Sprints”

Test automation and agile development go together like alchemy and Nicolas Flamel—you can hardly mention one without the other. Yet, most companies still struggle to embed test automation into their sprints—or even to make testing a natural part of the sprint process. In many cases, teams end up with mini-waterfalls where testing becomes a bottleneck at the end of the sprint, or worse, it’s left entirely outside of the sprint.

But TestHuset’s own “Master Alchemists,” Jens and Helge, have taken a page from Flamel’s book and discovered the Philosopher’s Stone—they’ve built a test framework that solves many of the common challenges teams face:

  • Leveraging the diverse competencies in the team

  • Uniting the three amigos: testers, developers, and business stakeholders

  • Integrating testing early in the sprint

  • Embracing automation

  • Aligning with Continuous Integration / Deployment / Delivery / whatever

  • Writing tests in a language framed as acceptance criteria

In short, we energize the entire process, optimize workflows, and ensure focus is placed on delivering the right product in the right quality.

We’ll open the door to the “alchemists’ lair” and show you the ingredients that make up our solution. We’ll practically hand you the formula and demonstrate how we test both functional and non-functional requirements—without relying on expensive conventional software products. Instead, we utilize the cloud and containers to create a practical and simple test automation setup, with a clear division of labor between humans and machines.

Key Benefits Include:

  • Greater professional focus for testers

  • Team-wide communication about quality—not just bug reporting

  • Scalability, fast test execution, and rapid feedback

Our solution requires no special skills from testers or developers but instead boosts team collaboration—to the benefit of everyone involved and the success of the project.
