Find your way to the virtual classroom
It is easy to participate in our online courses:
Click the link you’ve recieved and open it in your browser
The first time you use Zoom, you will be asked to enter your name. This will show in the virtual classroom. When you enter the classroom, a preview of your webcam will pop up – here you can see, what the other participants will see, when you’re in. When you’re ready, click ’Join with video’. Another window will then pop up, where you will be asked to click ’Join with computer audio’. You’re in!
You can always come back
If at any point you lose connection, you can always re-enter the virtual classroom by clicking the link in the email.
Your computer (or headset) must have a speaker and a microphone. We recommend using a headset if possible – that increases the audio quality.
It is not a requirement that you use a webcam, but we urge you to participate in the training with video, because it makes the experience more personal for everyone.
It is a good idea to cable your connection, if possible, as it minimizes the risk of fall outs.

6 tips for a good experience with online training
Create your own classroom
It is a good idea to create your own training space – wherever you are. Make sure that you have coffee/water and that you are comfortable somewhere without disturbances. Make sure to ask those around you not to disturb and if possible, turn off messages on your phone and email.
Make sure that you meet the technical requirements
It is important to have a good internet connection (cable it, if possible). A headset is also preferred for a better audio experience.
Familiarize yourself with the online classroom, before the start of training
We’ve sent a guide to the most important functionalities in Zoom. The day of the course you can enter the classroom 10 minutes early so that you have some time to look around and try out the basics.
Use each other
Even thouth you are not in the same room physically, you are still a group of trainees, so don’t hesitate to use each other. It can feel a bit overwhelming to begin with, having never met one another ‘in real life’, but see if you can keep an open mind, that way you make the most of the training.
Don’t be shy to ask questions and please bring in challenges from your daily life. All of us are here to learn.
Breaks are important
There will be breaks during sessions where you can stretch your legs and get some fresh air. Even though you don’thave the other trainees to talk to, it can be good to get your eyes away from the screen for a bit and we encourage that you take the opportunity to really get a break.
